Dear Emma,
I’m glad you enjoyed the programme and I know what you mean about choosing a new phone, it can get overwhelming.
If you like Sony Ericsson models there is a new model, the C905 code named “shiho” going to be announced tomorrow (17th June). See image below.
It is apparently meant to be their new flagship Cybershot phone and boasts an impressive 8.1 megapixel camera with auto focus, image stabilisation, BestPic, red eye detection, xenon flash for photos and video. As well as GPS and Bluetooth.
There is no fixed word on the price as yet but presumably there will be some good deals to be had on contract.
If you don’t want to wait for details of the C905, you could also check out the Sony K850i. This is a decent camera phone with a 5 megapixel camera and 3G.
If you wanted to go down the Apple route, why don’t you check out the new 3G iPhone. I have posted details about this phone here on girlgeekchic Blog page->

It has a lot of functionality and you can get it free on o2 on seleceted tariffs. See below for iPhone tariff details->

Really enjoyed watching you on BBC3 insomnia has its uses!
I think you should have had a whip round for some elocution lessons for Faye Sawyer though…
Anyway, I would just say that I really wouldn’t recommend the K850i - for why not see here http://tinyurl.com/66wu6z - it’s a bit bulky compared to the sleek K770i and the camera is a bit of a nightmare. Sony Ericsson dropped the ball on this one. Horrendous keypad and vague touchscreen buttons. The camera is great when it works, especially in the dark, but is temperamental and awkward to hold. The phone we liked for touchscreen usability was the Samsung Tocco.
Look forward to reading your blog in the future
