Samsung partners with Lily Allen’s new vintage clothes shop

Samsung is partnering with  Lucy in Disguise, Lily Allen’s new vintage clothes shop featuring exclusively designed notebooks in store. The SF310 notebooks will boast a bespoke Lucy in Disguise design and will be displayed at the new Covent Garden store for shoppers to browse its website. I was invited to the launch last week but unfortunately couldnt make it!

The brainchild of Lily and her sister Sarah, Lucy in Disguise is about a fashion-savvy fictional character called Lucy who has travelled the world through the decades from the ‘20s through to the ‘90s. Visitors to the store will be able to delve into ‘Lucy’s’ wardrobe and hire or purchase clothing from her collection of vintage clothes, jewellery, bags and shoes including labels like Chanel, Bill Gibb, Biba and Ossie Clark.

Lily said, “I’m so excited now the store is up and running and we made some great sales on the first day. We’ve sourced some amazing pieces from all over the world, ensuring our customers have the best choice of vintage around. These notebooks look great and really complement the Lucy in Disguise concept. I can’t wait to get my hands on one!”

Girl Geek’s September Must Haves…

As we all know a good, girl geek always loves to gadget up her life so check out what I’m mad for this month with my September must haves…

Oscar de la Renta iPad Clutch

I am *loving* these new clutches specifically made for all you iPad owning beauties out there. The Red Python, Pearlized Rose Python, and Pearlized Taupe  are available for around $390 (pretty punchy) but you can snaffle the black Embossed Crocodile iPad Clutch at a slightly more affordable-ish $290. Oh we love you Oscar.

Price around £250

Kodak Playsport

Calling all you gadget loving adrenalin junkies, check out the new rugged Playsport HD video camera from Kodak. It’s super durable, pocket-sized and shoots 1080p HD video – even underwater, up to 10 feet – at the touch of a button. Decent amount of features and very easy to use.

Price around £130

Incipio iWatch case for the new Nano

Incipio has unveiled the Linq, a special case for the sixth-generation iPod nano designed as a wrist-worn carrying solution. It’s basically a stylish watch strap which protects your iPod nano with a polymer case and provides easy access to its 3.5mm audio output and hardware buttons, while also doubling as a timepiece…clever Incipio.  Seems like a pretty handy way to carry your new nano nano.

Price £ TBC

Logitech Portable Lapdesk N315

Keep cool and comfortable with the new, portable  lapdesk from Logitech – you can even use your mouse on the go as it has a retractable mouse pad. It protects your legs from laptop heat so you can stay *chilled*  for hours and it looks pretty neat too.

Price around £20
